Why ?
to celebrate St. Andrew's Day weekend, promote the Wallace Monument and Stirling, raise awareness of the hobby and club
Details:

The main station will be QRV on 40m through to 2m from the base of monument. We originally planned to be QRV from the top for the entire 2 days but were advised against it due to the anticipated large crowds visiting (free entry weekend). Therefore we will be QRV for a very limited 1.5 hour slot on HF and VHF from the top crown of the monument on both mornings from 09:00 before the doors open.

We plan to demonstrate various aspects of radio communications to the public from airband, voice (telephony), morse code, data modes (computers and radios together)

Come along and visit us on-site, it's free entry all weekend, or listen out for us on all bands over the weekend.
Where ?
The National Wallace Monument, Stirling............eh, where's that ?

When ?
Saturday November 26th and Sunday November 27th,
09:00 until 17:30ish.
